I'm looking for information on my grandmother's family. Her maiden name was Matilda (or Natilda) Belle Kersey born June 28, 1882. She married Charles Edward Shadd. She and Charley had children nine: Dora, b:Oct. 14, 1916, Estella Mae b:Nov.28,1899, Dave Edward b:Jan.14, 1902, Lillian Marie b:Feb. 14, 1904, Irene Imogene b:April 29, 1909, Treva Florence b:Aug. 17, 1911, Clifford James b:Sept. 17, 1914, Melva Josephine b:Dec. 28, 1922, Floyd Monroe b:June 11, 1906. Matilda Belle Kersey and Charley Shadd were living in Waldron Arkansas in 1916 when my mother Dora was born. Matilda Belle went by the name Belle. She had a brother named Charley (Charles) Kersey, married to Lossie Cogburn, daughter of Bill Cogburn and Ida Shupert. I believe Charlie Kersey and Lossie had a grocery store somewhere in Oklahoma. Charley and Matilda Belle had a sister I believe by the name of Pearl, and I believe she lived in Washington state. Matilda Belle died in Oklahoma in 1950.
