I am from South Africa, the only daughter from a only son, Gabrial Abraham(Gawie) Kies, he was born on 15 October 1926 and died 9 June 2005. The Family name stopped with me and it is so nice seeing the Kies surname all over the world, it is not a very wellknown family name in South Africa
