I believe so, I don't know what his middle name is, but he had two other children: Grace and Helen. I got some info from my dad but all he knows is that Bill Kilby had two sisters and his fathers name was Wiley.

Just an update -- Edna Smith ( my grandmother) Born 1921, at Point Edward/Sarnia, Ontario - Died in 1975. Apparently has siblings named - Jack Leonard Smith - Born 1923,His wifes name is Helen Smith, Frank Smith, Bill Smith and Mary Smith.She also apparently lived on Oxford St. in Detroit for sometime as well. I am still looking for info on her parents and also family members either from the states or Canada to get ahold of me - it would be greatly appreciated.

age 91 of Madisonville, widow of Loyd Kilby, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 29, 2006 at U.T. Medical Center. She was an active and faithful member of South Madisonville Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: parents, Randell and Gertie Taylor; sisters, Janie Leming, Ruth Taylor, Betty Miller, Susie Taylor (infant) and an infant brother. She is survived by a loving family: brothers and sisters-in-law, M.F. and Marie Taylor, John R. Taylor, Madisonville; Ethel Kilby, Tellico Plains; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dawsie Clowers, Madisonville; Bessie Leming, Lorene and Kenneth Axley, all of Sweetwater; Ira Miller, Madisonville. Also survived by scores of nieces, nephews, extended family and church friends. Her quick wit and faithful witness will be sorely missed. Funeral 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Let me introduce myself and put you in the picture as to how we may be related:

My name is KARAN CHRISTINA NICOLAISEN, b. 19 May, 1948 Melbourne, I am the 3rd and youngest child of ARTHUR NEIL NICOLAISEN,b.19 June, 1915.Melbourne, died 24 October, 1995, Wollongong, New South Wales, who was the 2nd eldest child of JACOB and AMELIA. I have 2 older brothers CARL DAVID NICOLAISEN. b. 22 August, 1941 and DOUGALS NILS NICOLAISEN b. 12 January, 1940 both also in Melbourne.

AMELIA OLIVE KILBY was one of the children of AMELIA SOPHIA FLETCHER and WILLIAM KILBY, both born in Tasmania......

I by no means have a complete family history on any of the FLETCHER, KILBY, BERRY & associated lines from Tasmania, but sure would love to......the few details I have got I must admit I lifted from a gedcom on the internet which had been "privatised" so I have some names but no details and in come cases no direct relationship connections......

Although if I do have one section right and you are who I think you are, your basic details are as follows, without dates and place, just names:

Where RICHARD ARCHIBALD FLETCHER actually fits in with MY Fletchers I would dearly love to know, I would love to have a copy of an "open" unprivatised version of the combined family gedcom. If it is possible for you to provide me with such or put me in touch with some other relative who can, I would appreciate it very greatly.

It is a long sad story which I wont go into details about now, but my g/mother Amelia took an instant and life-long dislike to my mother and they both held that bitterness to their graves, This worked to prevent us children from having hardly any contact with either family or knowing hardly anything about the history of either family as we were growing up, we are now trying to fill in the blanks that we missed out on over those years.....tthat even extended to my father's brothers and sisters and their families, who lived only a short distance from us but may as well have been on the moon........

Franklin's father was Ferdinand (b. 1845) m. Myra Smith.

Hi! i have just started researching my family tree. I am posssibly the great grand daughter of Ethel!

I have gathered lots of information which could goes back as far as 1690 which has been passed on to me. But Ethel is a tricky one. She had my Grandad Tom on 8th October 1919 illigetibly, she then went on to have a another son Steve (we think) by another man.

My granddad was bought up by his Grandparents Edward and Clara. We then believe she possible moved to london and had more children,we are unsure if she ever did settle down.

My grandad passed away 1994 and never spoke of these events so I would really appreciate any information you may have. I look forward to hearing from you.

Scott I just got through going thur more of my Huffman/Hoffman material & found some more Kilby's. Found a Linwood Taylor Kilby b abt 1910 in Culpeper who marr Elsie Mae Hitt 5 Nov 1938. Their children were:
Richard b abt 1944 who marr Ruby Mae Dodson
Linda Ray who marr Taylor R. Griffin III. & marr 2nd Michael E. Kessling. Also found some more Clatterbuck info.
William Bray Clatterbuck b abt 1885 marr Lucy Hadie Huffman 30 May 1907 in Madison Co William was the son of Charles Andrew Clatterbuck & Sarah Hoyle.

My mom's maiden name is Kilby and she had an Aunt Alberta who was a Kilby I believe... Definitely didn't live in Missouri though (although I did). My mom grew up in NJ.
