Does anyone have documentation proving marriage date of Kinchen Killebrew and Martha Lynch? Some researchers have used dates as early as 1774 in Christian Co., KY. Of course KY wasn't even a state until 1792, and the earliest records of any kind I've seen for Christian Co. are around 1797. I suspect Martha and Kinchen were married about 1798 or 99 in Edgecombe Co. NC, after death of his first wife. Can anyone shed any light on this?
