Does anyone have more information about the Easley KILPATRICK who served in the Civil War in the Confederate Artillery, 1st Battalion, Company B, as a Private? This unit was organized at Ft. Morgan and served in or near Mobile, Alabama for most of the war.
Since there is more than one Easley KILPATRICK out there, I was wondering if this was the Easley who was born at South Carolina in 1819, and married Emily Jane HAMMONS.
If you are tracing this Easley KILPATRICK will you please get in touch- thanks!

I'm a gggrandson of John Franklin Kilpatrick and Rachel Rebecca Melvina Durham. He was born in Maury Co., TN in 1831, and died in Giles Co., TN in 1907. J.F. was married three times; Melvina was his third wife. His daughter Terissa A. Kilpatrick was born abt. 1860 to him and his second wife, Mary J. Morrow. Appparently she was named after his first wife, Terissa Inman.

He is listed in the 1870 Census as John F. Kilpatrick, and as Jno. F. Kilpatrick in the 1860 Census. He and Terissa are also listed as living in the household of his father in the 1850 Census. His father's name was Enos Simpson (or Sampson) Kilpatrick, but he's listed in that Census as Simpson E. Kilpattrick.

Hope this helps. Good luck in your research.

Hello Elizabeth.
I have tried to contact this Chip Matthews without any luck.
I believe I may also be related to his Kilpatricks and yours also.
My Kilpatricks start 1780 in Northern Ireland with birth of Samuel William Kilpatrick.
I have no knowledge of his siblings or parents.
However my DNA test found that I matched with someone at 9 generations and this is John Kirkpatrick born 1705 Penpont Dumfriesshire Scotland. So somehow one son or grandson has gone to Ireland and changed the name to Kilpatrick.
I understand that one grandson is known as Thomas Kilpatrick. I would love to hear more from you about your Kilpatricks and whether you may also be related to General Hugh Judson Kilpatrick or perhaps even me.

Regards
Ross Kilpatrick from Australia

William Kilpatrick and Bridget Kilpatrick nee Burke

My great grandfather was James Joseph Burke B 1888/1889 in East Maitland to Bridget Burke (no father on his birth certificate, just his mother) James took Burke his mothers maiden name at birth. Bridget Burke later married William Kilpatrick and had three children, Olga B1907, Stella B1898, and William B1903 all in Gunnedah. I am looking for descendants of these children. My great grandfather was born out of wedlock, and these three children were his half brothers and sisters. I am hoping anyone with any information can help, and I am particularly interested in information about descendants of Olga and Stella. My grandmother Nancy remembers Aunty Olga and Sheila (William P Kilpatricks wife). William Kilpatrick married Sheila Maccann in Gunnedah in 1926. Olga married John R Williams in 1927 in Canterbury. I cannot find any information about Stella being married.
If any of this information rings familiar to anyone please get in touch with me.
krista.sis@hotmail.com

Yes I know Jim. He has been most generous in sharing his Kilpatrick clan
research. Jimmy, Roy, and Warren were playmates growing up in Oklahoma.
Are you the wife of James Walls?

Nice to hear from you.

Best wishes,

Herbert Dean (Michael) Kilpatrick
