Wow! What a small world. My name is Linda, great-granddaughter of Karl August Kilwy who would have been Catherine Hausding's (nee Kilwy) brother. I live in Leland.
I would like to get some information from you that I may not have in my family file. Would that be possible?

John----Yes, those are the ones!
Do you have any other info on them? I have contacted Elaine, but she hasn't sent any information. Last I heard, they were trying to determine who owns the property the cemetery is on. My relatives are buried there but graves were marked with wooden crosses. Gladys, (Bob C.)daughter said Jean had them marked with stones. Now there is nothing marking them. Ira is the only one who knows. Treasa was going to take him out there to try and map out where they might be. If you have any information, I would appreciate it.
The Kilwy's from northern MI

August Kilwy emigrated from Stebbach, Baden, Germany in 1855 to Good Harbor Bay, MI. I'm his direct descendent through his son Johan and Johan's son Mose. Mose's mother, Gladys, was my grandmother. Her only living sibling, Ira is living in the area. You may wish to contact Elaine Fall for further details. See also lives near him in Traverse City, MI. I had heard that August was a prominent citizen of Stebbach and that the family had a crest. He may have left Germany to prevent his sons from being conscripted for military service. There is a family cemetary off of Leelanau County Root 651 and due north of Kilwy Road. Many of our Kilwy ancestors are buried there.
