Buddy Kimball from Louisville ky

Have wedding pics I would like to return to family of a Buddy Kimball from Louisville, Jefferson Co. Ky. My father Laurence Wilcher was a good friend of his. The marriage date looks to be around the late 40's, early 50's. My father looked for him for years as to what happened to him , but with no luck. My father passed in 2007. I'm not even sure Buddy was his right name or a nickname. Buddy was born approx 1930. He may have worked at the Louisville Chair Co, with my father, or the Venetion Blind Co.

The " History of the Kimball Family" by Leonard Morrison and Stephen Sharples in 1897 has a Lewis Ambrose Kimball born on 16 April 1868 in New Hampshire. he was the son of # 2184 in the book --Orrin Kimball born 20 March 1839 in Newton, NH and resided in Newton, NH.
Lewis descendants are not listed but should be able to be located through the census records.
Lewis had listed as siblings;
Kimball, Leslie Orrin b 28 July 1874
Kimball, Eva Blanche b 26 Aug 1879
Kimball Lillian Mabel b East Kingston, NH 21 Nov 1889
Orrin's ancestery is listed as
Orrin Kimball[ James Lowell 8, Ebenezer 7, Samuel 6, Jonathan 5, John 4, John 3, Henry 2 and Richard 1 who came to America in 1634.
The book is still for sale and also in CD on E-Bay and a reprint of the first 6 generations from the Kimball Family Association.
A good gift indeed if this is the correct Lewis.

Hi, My name is Belle Kimball Salsman. I have been on this site before looking for my father or any members of my family. I am desperately trying to find anyone I am related to, to try and find out about my father. I really don't know much about searching or computers. So any help would greatly be appreciated. His name is Russell Burns Kimball and he was born FEB. 28 or 29 1928. He was From Milford or Nashua New Hampshire I believe. He had a brother and other family but I am not sure of all their names just Milton I think his name was. Also another daughter for sure. Her name is Abagail, I think. My mother couldn't or wouldn't remember all the details for me. And now she is gone, she passed away 6 years ago. So please, anyone!!!!

Emma Bentzine was my grandmother's sister. She married Joe Kimball. I have a lot of information on the Bentzine family, if you are interested. Emma was one of 8 children, five of whom, including Emma, were blind. My grandmother was one of three with sight.

Harry Kimball, b abt 1814 NH, died 1896 in Porter Indiana.
m. Harriet Dillingham, b. 1818 Huron Co. OH, d. 1901 Porter Indiana
1 Child, Nancy Amanda, 1839 - 1948
All are buried in Kimball Cemetery in Porter Indiana.

I am most interested in his relationship to Marion Kimball-Claflin, who's child he appears to be raising. I expect them to be siblings, but would like to find something to back that up.

No I haven't, sorry. I am not to good eith the computer stuff, trying to find my father is hard enough. My mother passed away so everything about my father she knew went with her. Porter Kimball was my great-great grandfather. His daughter, Katie Kimball, married James Jesse (JJ) Roberts. I have a list of her siblings and some of there families. The chances of your receiving this message may be slim since your posting was 7 years ago. I find your discovery very interesting. My ancestor was Abram Kimball, who was the brother of John Kimball- the one you mentioned. I have been to that cemetery as well and took a photo of his grave stone before I understood exactly who he was. I also took photos of Abram and his wife Hannah's in Smart Cemetery. Abram's son is Daniel J Kimball (civil war Vet) he was my great, Great grandfather...and father in law to Raymond Ellis, (my great grandfather).

I have learned that the father of Abram and Johnathan was also named Abram but I have not been lucky enough to find any further information. Perhaps the "David" Kimball you found who died in 1815 could be the grandfather of Abram and John???

By checking the Massachusetts Archives vital records index on line, one finds a marriage of Alice Myrtie Hooper of Everett, Ma in 1877 and also a marriage for George E Kimball of Everett in 1877. There is also a death record for George E Kimball of Everett in 1892.
The 1880 census -on line lists George C Kimball age 32 and born in Vermont, occupation -apothecary and wife Alice M, born in Maine age 26 and a daughter Alice A Kimball age 1 year.
By checking the 1850 census for Vermont for a George Kimball born in 1848, one is found in Springfield, Windsor County, Vermont.

Kimball, Rendella M age 20 b in Vermont
Kimball, George E age 1 year b Vermont
Cheeney, Lorinda age 47
Next Door;
Kimball, George age 50 b vermont -blacksmith
Kimball, Abigail age 48
Kimball, Marcia A age 22 b Vermont
Kimball, John A age 12 b Vermont.
In the "History of the Kimball Family" by Morrison and Sharples written in 1897, one finds many George Kimball's.
However, there are only a few Marcia Kimball so she is found on page 712 of the Kimball book, listing great detail about the family. George Jr is also found on this page and also on page 998 where it states George Eugene Kimball was born on 14 Nov 1848 and died in Everett, Massachusetts on 19 January, 1892. It does not lists any other information on George Eugene Kimball except he had a sister Lillian b 3 Sept 1855 and Addie A b 2 Dec 1859 who died 29 July 1864.
The ancestry of George Eugene Kimball 10, George 9, George 8, George 7, Isaac 6, Jonathan 5, Jonathan 4, Samuel 3, Richard 2, and Richard 1 who came to America on the ship Elizabeth in 1604. Information is given on all the above Kimball's including the siblings in the book. The revised edition only goes to the first 6 generations-down to Isaac Kimball.
