I have two marriages in my ancestry that are of two Kimber women and two Surman men.
The first was William Surman, who moved to Great Milton (Berkshire), England, around 1804. He was christened 1/19/1752 and bur-2/24/1828, married to Mary Kimber 10/10/1781 at Headington. I have no dates for her.
They had three children, 1. Mary, chr-4/24/1782; 2. James, chr-6/6/1788; and 3. Elizabeth, chr-6/4/1786.
William married again, to an Elizabeth Paine, and they had eight children. Their third child, another William Surman, married Martha Kimber, relationship to Mary Kimber unknown. Anyway, William was b-6/16/1794, bur-9/24/1847. Martha was married to William on 1/2/1827 and she was buried 10/22/1847.
They had seven children, 1. Mary Ann, marr-Joseph Justice; 2. Joseph, chr-2/10/1824, marr-Thirza Hall and Ellen Hall; 3. Emma, chr-7/19/1825, bur-1/20/1829; 4. James, chr-4/25/1830, bur-11/4/1862; 5. Martha, chr-6/4/1827, bur-6/1/1829; 6. William, chr-12/9/1832, bur-10/14/1907; and 7. Elizabeth, chr-12/7/1834, d-1880, (South Dakotaa, marr-Edwin Hall, Milton, Berkshire, England, 1855.
Edwin and Elizabeth are my great-great grandparents.
