Surnames: Kinney McKinney Farren
I am looking for any information on James Augustine Kinney who was possibly born in Cambria County, Pennsylvania in the 1800's. The only information I have is a coroner's report from Blair County in May 1891 of a death of a James Kinney in Baker's Mines, PA. This community no longer exists, but was near the coal mining community of Coupon, Cambria Co, PA. The family lived in this area. My late father said that the name had been changed from McKinney at some point. Mr. Kinney was married to Mary Ellen Farren who had been previously married to Patrick Montgomery. He may have used the name Augustine because this is listed in obituaries of his children with Mary Ellen - Alice Munro, George & Charles (twins), Harry (my grandfather) & James William. Any insight into this man would be greatly appreciated. I have hit a dead end.

Thank you,
Eileen Kinney Hall
