David, I would be extremely interested in any information you have about the Filio(n) and Kinville families. My great-grandmother's name was Sophia Filio Kinville from Keeseville, New York. I have (had) great-aunts named Eva L'Esperance, Saffi(sp?) Bouchard, Della Rashaw, ?unknown first name Foos and several families of Kinvillles. I grew up in Burlington, Vermont. My grandmother, Mary Rosalie Kinville married Arthur A. Marrier; they had 10 children (my father, aunts and uncles)all born in Burlington. My grandmother died in February, 1968 and my grandfather died in July, 1956. I have been told that Antoine Kinville was Sophia's husband or father(?) and came to the U.S.A. from the province of Quebec in Canada. My grandmother, Mary Rosalie Kinville Marrier was 81 years old when she died; she has one surviving son living in Burlington, Vermont, named Clement O. Marrier; he is 80+ years, but VERY sharp!!

Just wondering if Antoine, son of Benoni is brother to Raphael. Is there mother Sophie CAZA?

If so, my grandmother is Emma, who married Albert STANG. She is the daughter of Raphael (m to Eva Louise POIRIER) and grand daughter of Benoni and Sophie. Do you have any info to help me???

And im inquiring any information i might be able to grasp... my biological mothers name is Nancy Lee Kinville, she has 2 sisters JoAnn Marie Kinville (moore) and Janet Ellen Kinville.. A brother named joseph, robert, william.. i think..she is the youngest of these children.. Im inquiring any information anyone may have to give me. I cant really get any answers out of her do to the matter.. I am questioning any health issues the family may have, our back grounds, and a few private in depth family questions... I believe her biological mothers name was Amelia Kinville (tank) im not sure from what ive gathered my mother is from the michigan area.. if anyone may have any information you can give me that would be wonderful...

Hello Cheryl, I would very much appreciate having the info on Antoine Kinnville and his 11 children which you offered 4/11/00. I have just recently learned that Eva Kinville (born about 1883 in Chesterfield, NY) was my grandmother. Am quite sure that Antoine K and Sophia Felio/Filion were her parents although she does not appear on Adam Kinville's website. I have a family record of the Kinvilles going back to 1849. This book was my stepfather's and there is an Eva Kinville listed as being born to Antoine Joseph Kinville and Sophia Filio (kinville) Sophia was born march 6,1849 and antoine was born feb 16 1847. Hope this helps!!

I am assisting the daughter of Doris Kinville(1924-1998)in tracing her roots. Doris was the daughter of Leo Kinville(d.1972 son of Antoine) and Leona Tyo. Have just seen your 9/30/99 request for info on eva kinville. Only recently learned that eva was my grandmother. She married Thomas L'Esperance in Burlington, VT. Their marriage license is dated 7/9/1910. Would you like a copy of the license? On the license. Eva's parents are shown as Antoine Kinville and Sophia Felio, but I have no other proof of this. If you look at www.kinville.com/kinville.htm, Eva is not listed as a child of Antoine and Sophia. She was born in 1882/83 I believe. I was in Essex county on Wed and could not find her birth record in Chesterfield(town clerk's office). Do you have any source info? I also have copies of birth certificates of three of Eva'schildren: Arthur Andre, Leo David and Gladys. Are these of interest? Please contact me when you can.
