Don, I believe these Kippers to be the children of James P. Kipper in Sangamon County IL for the 1830 census. I believe Thompson P. Kipper, who later settled near Mt. Auburn in adjacent Christian County IL, to be my gggrandfather. Does any of this coincide with what you have? I would appreciate knowing any other information you have about this family or bible. At this point I have not encountered your Brownlee, Bohanon or McDole families but I will share all information I have about Kippers and Taylors.
