Mrs. Anna S. Cogsil, 81, of 140 Amsterdam Rd. SE, Scio (Perrysville), died at Valley Manor Pavilion, New Philadelphia, Saturday after a long illness.
Born at Perrysville July 24, 1895, a daughter of the late Jason and Belle (Kirby) Shambaugh, she was a life resident of Perry Twp. A former employee of the Scio Pottery, she was a member of Perrysville United Methodist Church, Perrysville Friendly Neighbor Club and a charter member of Perry Twp. Grange.
She was married June 30, 1915 to Charles L. Cogsil who preceded her in death March 13, 1950. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Julia Litzenberg of Rt. 1, Scio, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held Wednesday in the Allmon-Dugger Funeral Home with Rev. Millie Moore officiating. Burial was in Perrysville United Methodist Cemetery.
