From the book of St. John's Church in Emma, MO:
Heinrich Kirchhoff was born February 2, 1814 in Stolzenau, Hannover, the son of Ernst Heinrich Kirchhoff and Margarete Elisabeth Kranz. He married (1) Sophia Maria Buesching and they had one child, Fritz, born April 1, 1840. Sophia died March 2, 1841. On August 23, 1846 Heinrich married Charlotte Buesching, a sister of Sophia. Charlotte was born October 23, 1817 at Steyerberg, the daughter of Friedrich Wilhelm and Anna Maria Hedwig (Prange) Buesching.
Children of Heinrich and Charlotte:
Minna, born December 8, 1847 in Hannover.
In 1848 Heinrich left for America, arriving in New Orleans, then traveling up the Mississippi to St. Louis, then on to Lafayette County, MO. In 1853 he returned to Hannover to bring his wife and children, Fritz and Minna to America.
They purchased a farm about a mile southwest of St. John's Church. The other children in the baptismal records:

Sophia, born March 15, 1858 *** This has to be a misprint or error as Charlotte was born December 31, 1857 - not enough time to pass for another birth in March 1858. (I am just adding whats in the book.)

Fritz married Maria Brackman 1866 and had:
Emilia, Henry, Friedrich, Anna, Sophia, and Martha.
Minna married George Hemme in 1868 and had:
Maria, Joseph, Otto, Gustav, Helena, Elisa, Charlotte, Ida, Charles, Ernst, and Anna.
Heinrich married Dorothea Hartmann in 1881 but she died on September 17, 1882. He then married Augusta Auping in 1884 and they had: Heinrich Christoph. Augusta died July 24, 1885 and their son died August 8, 1885. **** The book does not say this, but I presume they had complications at childbirth as they died so close together - just a thought.
Heinrich then married a third time to Katherine Steffens and they had: Leo, Oscar, Mary, Nora, Walter, Leonhard, Lorenz, and Ervin.
Wilhelm married Katherina Eckhoff in 1882 and they had: Laura, Edward, Julius, Ernst, Hulda, Robert, Emil, and William.
Charlotte married George H. Driver in 1879 and they had: Lydia, Clara, Otto, Julius, and Hulda.
George married Anna Harms in 1882 and they had: Henry, Flora, Clara, Joseph, Emilie, Ida, Lena, Thelka, Louis, Adolph, Erna, Saverna, and Lorna.
August married Doris Franke in 1886 and they had: Otto, Joseph, Arthur, Alvin, Leona, Hugo, Ralph, and Lydia. Doris died August 21, 1920 and in 1921 August then married Rosa Jens and they had: Lucille Mabel.
Heinrich Kirchhoff died April 23, 1904 and Charlotte died March 16, 1889. They are buried side by side at the St. John Cemetery at Emma, MO.
