I've come to a dead end on my relatives that moved from S. Carolina to Hill County, Texas. William H. Kirkpatrick and his brother Andrew Kirkpatrick came to Hill Co., Texas in the late 1840's and 1850's. Old information I have from an "old" relative is that Margaret Gaston was their mother. But, if that is the case; Margaret would be around 65 yrs. old when Andrew was born. William and Andrew are from Abbeville, S.C. and Andrew was married to Louisa Jones. Appreciate any help!
