Classification: Query
Surnames: Kirman/Kerman/Kirmonde, Rose, Middleton
At Covenham, Lincolnshire, England, between 1777 and 1789 Joseph and Mary Kirman had baptised nine children - four of whom are known to have died young. Joseph Kerman (c1750-Dec 1792) appears to be the son of William Kirmonde and Mary (Ranson) of Covenham. It also appears that Joseph was married 1770 at North Reston, Lincs to Mary Rose. At Ludborough, Lincs in 1771 Elizabeth Kirman is born to a Joseph and Mary and at North Ormsby in 1773 Rose Kirman is baptised with parents, Joseph & Mary. Both are likely children of this Covenham family. Mary (Rose) Kirman died 1793 and the children were orphaned. In 1799 Joseph Kirman (born Covenham) marries at Apley, Lincs. In 1806 John Kirman (c1780-1847) marries Rebecca Middleton at Stainfield, adjacent to Apley. John & Rebecca Kirman are my thrice great grandparents. Would welcome contact with other researchers of 18th century Kirman families in Lincolnshire.
