George Kirtland
There were several George Kirtlands who came out of Connecticut (generally New Haven area) in the 1800's. Would like information on George Belden Kirtland (resided for a while in Wallingford) b. 1821, 1822?
Also, there was a George Kirtland (Jr.) born in Plymouth, CT in 1822 who married Mrs. Sarah Doolittle in 1859. Is this George Belden? Children: Howard G., Harriet H. & Anna (twins), Benjamin, Winfield Scott, Ida M., George (1868), and Harriet Hart (#2 as the first Harriet died young).
NOTE: Son of George and Sarah: George married Henrietta Smith (abt 1892) and had children: Winfield Scott, Hazeltine, and Harriet Lorraine.
Question: Who was Sarah M. (b. 1829 in Wallingford) before she married a Doolittle, and what Doolittle was she married to?
Please respond to Jubile98(at)sbcglobal.net.
Thanks. Sis to tpyszk
