Thank you for replying to my post, I appreciate any information that you have. I actually found Jacob & Ursula (Kisamore) Day's graves in Leavittsville, which is nearby Dellroy, OH in Carroll County. They were my great-grandparents who had 7 children - French, Bessie, Nela, Fred, Mason, Dayton and Russell. My great-aunt Nela did indeed marry Jason Dice Harper.
I am actually looking for information on my maternal great-great grandparents Jacob & Detta (Bland) Kisamore. There is not much to go on from the family recollections....
But thanks again for your help, if I can be of any help to you please let me know.

I'm glad that you asked about Jacob's death. I didn't have that information until now. I decided to look again to see what I could find. I found a Jacob William Day that died on June 4, 1942 in Carroll Co., Ohio. There wasn't any other information on this record. The record was on Ancestry.com. I also checked at http://pilot.familysearch.org and didn't find this record. This is the same county that Ursula died in 1944. Her death record [an image] can be found at the pilot.familysearch site.

I have that Nela Ursula Kisamore married Jason Dice Harper, who was the son of Philip Henry Harper and Rebecca Ruhoma (Harman) Harper. I do research on all descendants of Isaac Harman, the 1st.

I am looking for Jacob's date of death and where he may be buried, I am a descendant of his daughter, Ursula Kisamore. I would also be very interested if anyone has any pictures of the family. I have pictures of Ursula and her husband Jacob Day.

Hello, anyone find parents of Mary KISAMORE b. abt 1785 in Virginia. I'm from the line of John KELLER b. abt 1787 of Pendleton Co. and looking for information on him and his wife Mary. Have wondered also if he had been married before Mary? Have not yet found his parents.
If anyone is interested in DNA results we are having one of John Keller's descendents tested by FTDNA, familytreedna.com

Jesse Kisamore's father is Boston Stalnaker

According to the Early Orphans in Randolph County WVA court documents of 27 Oct 1806, Mary Caysamore names Boston (Sebastian) Stalnaker as the father of her child. He agrees. Sebastian Stalnaker is the son of Jacob Stalnaker and Maria Elizabeth Truby. Bernard Kisamore is the father of Mary Kisamore, Jesse's mother. Anyone have info on Bernard? Keep diggin!

Jacob and Elizabeth had 14 children

Joel, Floyd, Martin, Wilbur, Elmer, Ervin, Edward, Zadie, Maudie, Gertie, Clara, Zettie, and Opal.

Clara is the last living child.

# 9 was Ervin, #10 Edward Jacob, #11 was Zettie #12 was Opal, #13 was Clara and #14 was Elmer.

My grandmother's sister, Hannah Morral, married Jonas Kisamore. The 1900 Pendleton County, WV, census lists
Jonas Kisamore , born April 1842, age 58
Hannah , wife, born Sept. 1833, age 66, 8 children, 7 living
Wayne, Son, b. January 1883
Izernia, Daug., b. Sept. 1877
Mary, Mother, b. Sept, 1812, 87 widow, 10 children, 8 living
From the names listed on the census before and after Jonas, I believe they were living at Smith Mountain near Onego. These names include Samuel C. Morral, John R. Dolly, Martin H. Harper, Rebecca Morral (widow of John), Amos Morral, Robert C. Arbogast, Benjamin F. Bible, Hrny W. Bible.

Does anyone have information on Jonas Kisamore's family?

Somehow, I posted my grandmother as being Elizabeth Ellen Sites which is in error my grandmother was Elizabeth Ellen Hedrick married to Jacob Kisamore from Pendlton County.
I have tried to change the posting but being a "newby" I do not understand how. If anyone knows how please email me and tell me how todo this. I apologize to all for the error and inconvenience

Parents of Jonas: F - Jesse Kisamore, M - Mary Spellman (11 children) one of them is Phoebe Ellen Kisamore, my gg-grandmother.

I found the graves of two KISAMORE individuals buried in Westmoreland County, PA. As this surname is a very predominantly WV-based name, I was wondering if anybody knew where these individuals may have "fit in" to the family tree of things. They were in seperate cemeteries, in Fairfield and St. Clair Townships.
