Yes, Lissette Klinge Herbold and Charles Herbold were my ggrandparents. Their daughter Minnie married John Widmer. Minnie and John had several children including my mother Helen Widmer. Was is your connection?
I have some interesting family/oral histories if this is your family. Lissette's mother's maiden name was Gercke (Gerke).
Looking forward to hearing more from you.

I'm interested in this line of Klinge.
Your obituary post sounds like Cincinnati. I am descended from a line of Klinge who immigrated to the U.S. in about 1866. Charles Klinge was born in Hesse around 1807 and immigrated with his wife Charlotte (possibly Christine) and his daughter, Lissette Klinge Herbolt and her husband Carl Herbolt.
Let me know if there is a connection.
Thanks

Parents were Heinrich & Antonie. Apparently he was considered the black sheep of the family, but did occassionally write to his sister-in-law Ella.

Mary Bruen was second wife.
son: Josiah and Mercy (Camp) Baldwin.
dau: Remember Camp married John L Winans.

The time-line fits. The Mary Bruen marriage date would indicate that Josiah was 14 when he married Remember. I have dob for her as: 29 Feb, 1678. There was another Remember Baldwin though. Birth date ?
I will put dates to these if you want.
