Monday Was Off Day
Reading & Neuman Record Three Accidents On River. Ed. King's Knee Injured
Monday was a real "blue" Monday and generally unlucky date for Reading & Neuman in their ice harvesting operations on the river. Emulating the example of Henry Reading early in the morning, John Klish, on of the employes, also fell into the river early in the day. His bath was complete and left nothing to be desired in that line. The mercury was below zero and Mr. Klish was obliged to hurry home to change his clothes. He suffered no ill effects from the mid-winter wetting and soon returned to work.
