I'm looking for information on his parents, Luke Knapp (b1796 in NY; d1870 in MI) and Mary(Ann Lewis) Knapp (b1815 in NY.) The other Knapps on the earliest census record I can find which is Jolly, Washington, OH are: William b1834, Ambrose b1836, Isaiah b1838, Emaline b1842, Axy b1844, and Mary b1846. 10 years later, Emaline is a Roush, also a Martin Roush in the same house w/the parents, and Hester b1852 + Eugene b1854 in the household, now in Oceana, MI. Does anyone have any more information on these folks?
