In your genealogy of the Kneen family of Ct. you mention Emily Wiedman, the wife of Evertt Kneen. Emily was the sister of my grandmother Rose Wiedman. The Wiedmans (usually with only one n) came from Pzhorheim, Baden, Germany in 1881 and settled on Highland Avenue in Newark, NJ. Gustav was a button-maker. His wife was Caroine Sotterling/Zutterling/Zeutterling, much younger than Gustav and ths sister of his first wife.

Emily's and Everett's daughter was Violet and she married Lester Kuss. They had two children, Gail and Robert. Robert was severely brain damaged. I know nothing of Gail.

Violet died in Orange, Ct. in 1983 and Lester in Florida 1998.
