I have an original Cabinet Card photograph of “Fred Kneer”, which I’d like to get back to descendants or family members. Photo was taken in about 1895-1900, and he looks to be about age 17-19 in the photo. At the same time I obtained this photo, I got three others, all taken in Indianapolis, IN – although this one does not specify a photographer’s location.

I found a Fred William Kneer in the Marion Co., IN World War I Draft Registrations, showing his date of birth 1 Nov 1879 in Brightwood, IN. In the 1920 census for Indianapolis, he is listed as Fred W. Kneer, age 40, with wife Grace, 36, and a daughter, age 8.
