Pioneer Dead- Jakob Knell, aged 82, one of the oldest residents of San Francisco, died Tuesay mornint after an illness of 8 months. He was a native of Hesse-Darmstadt, Germany. He came to the United States when he was quite young and reached San Francisco in 1855.
