George Knell from Kent UK

I am trying to find information of the family of George Knell, aho married Harriet Hooper in 1852. They sailed to the USA soon after, settling in Illinois.

They had one daughter, Elizabeth who married a George Lovering.

Hello,

My great grandmother was a Knell from the Port Washinton area. Family legend has it that her family that helped settle an area there called Knellsville. Rose Knell and her parents, Mathias and Elizabeth settled there after immigrating from Luxemburg. There are several siblings including, Mary, Anna, Agnes, Frank, and John. I am interested in any information you might have one the Knells or inforamation about the area. Thank you so much in advance.

John Knell b abt 1861 and Hannah Pike b abt 15 Aug 1772 had a daughter Mary Ann Knell born 8 Aug 1803 and she married George Stevens in 1823. They immigrated to Dane Co, Wisconsin in the mid 1800's. John's parents were Joseph and Ann. They had two other children that I know of, Richard and Joseph. Some descendants went to Australia.
The Knell's were from Cerne Abbas.

My great-grandfather, Peter Knell, was born in Weinheim bei Alzey (very close to Manheim). Is it possible that you are from this same branch? I have my Weinheim ancestors' names and dates. Peter emigrated to NYC where he married Alwine Horn (from Pomerania). They remained in NYC where they raised a large family.

Looking for my g-grandmother Amy Elizabeth Knell b.July 09, 1863 in England (London I think) d. Jan.01, 1944, BC, Canada
She married Richard John Green and after his death in March of 1900, she married an unknown Stammers. (Both marriages were in England.)
Don't know her parents names, her birth location, or marriage dates. She possibly had a sister, Eliza (1881 British Census shows them as servants to F. Price) (Only record I've found of her in England so far; need to find access to & check 1871 Census to try to find her at her parents)
She had a Memorial Card for Jessie Rosena Knell who died 30th Oct 1887, Interred Victoria Park Cemetery, Grave No 373. Don't know relationship ??
She had 2 sons that I know of - Richard Bedwell Green b. Sept 06, 1886 in Peckham, London, England and Charles Alfred Green b. Dec 29, 1888 in England (my grandfather).
Would appreciate any information on Amy and her family.

I don't know of any Knells in North Dakota. Our Knells, as far as we can figure out, came from England to Newfoundland. I have been told that the name originated in Germany.
