Attention residents of southern Knoxville, I was recently exploring in south Knoxville, TN and i happened upon a community that looked as though it hasent seen the breath of a live being in 20-30 years. Seriously, there were old cars old houses all with old mail and old newpapers on the steps, and old cemetary. this is the catch. the cemetary was marked off completely with police tape. and the road with houses on it had not one intact window on car house or anything. further down the road there was a huge gate blocking off any further passage by vehicle. The area was clearly deserted so i procceded down my all too human path and got out of car and walked around the fence blocking the road untill i got through. inside i found yet more houses unlived more cars more outdated newpapers on the steps. Then i noticed something that didn't sit well with my stomach, in the trees surrounding me there were camera's mounted in the trees watching me snoop around. ahhh crap i though, waiting to be surrounded by police or rednecks one. this did not happen i was allowed to leave promptly without any intervention by others. later on that evening i was relating my experience to a group of my friends from work, they were as excited by the okwardness of the setting and insisted on me taking them to this otherworldly place. so i did. And we all made it as far as the gate and chickened out. the fear of rednecks and shotguns overcame our bravery due to the multitude of warnings about what would happen to us if we got caught on the other side of the fence, "WARNING" "NO TRESPASSING" "VIOLATORS WILL BE PROSECUTED" "DO NOT ENTER", ect. ect. very cartoonish all those signs and if it hadn't been night we would have probably made it through before our fear caused us to turn and run. The next week, one of the guys who drove that night decided he would make it back during the day time. so he grabed a friend and headed out for our cover up. half way down the one way road to the infamous gate a shinny silver car rushed out of no where and tail gated him at ridiculously high speeds and chased him out of the area and followed him down the interstate system for 30 minutes toward ashville and suddenly screeched past him. The car had government tags. we have not had the nerve to go back sence. however, we have been trying to research the existance of some chemical spill or something of that nature in the area, and have found nothing. so we posted a topic on a south knoxville message board about the place asking for any knowledge that residents of the area may have in their head. shortly there after my IP address mysteriously disappeared leaving me on the phone with my ISPs tech support for the next few days. finnally after rebuilding my net connection I went back to the south knoxville message board only to find that it and all of its similar sites have been totally evaporated from the net. One of the girls i work with on that same day who's first name only was mentioned on that post recieved a phone call on her mobile phone from and "UNKNOWN CALLER" curtosy of caller ID. the "CALLER" said the web site is back up and then got disconnected we think.
