So i'm doing a family tree thing for school. and trying to get info. but i dont know anyting about my family other than that they came over on the mayflower, someones lastname was cullens, and they went somewhere in wisconsin. and stayed there for a long time. but now some of my family lives in IL. i know theres a lot of cool stuff in my family i just dont know how to find it.

I am looking for relatives of Lillian M Koeller (31 Jul 1874-25 Feb 1957), nee Allen, wife of Samuel W Koeller, who lived at 2740 Santa Clara Way, Sacramento, California. She was born in Wisconsin. She and Samuel married in Marathon County, Wisconsin, on 17 Jul 1898. She died in Sacramento, California. Her mother's maiden name was Sleight.

You should look for a Sue Devine on your search of these sights.She take care of are family tree and we are desedents of christoff.I find it very sad that you come from such a big family and dont realy know anything about them.

Are you related to Heinrich Koeller or to Martin Koeller? We are descendents of Heinrich Koeller through to Catherine Kehler (from Locust Dale, Ashland, PA) who was our grandmother.

In regards to the area of origin in Germany:
I have been researching this family for over 20 years and have never found any proof in regards to where the Leitner family originated from in Germany. Again, I question the information. Also, I am not positive but I believe this area in Germany that you mention to be or was a Mennonite community and this family was not Mennonite.

Magdalena is the daughter of Johann Adam Leitner and Maudlin. However, Johann Adam Leitner sailed from Rotterdam to London on July 15, 1709 with his wife and only two sons. He arrived in New York sometime in 1710. Their daughter, Magdalena was born on March 19, 1716 in Cecil County, Maryland.

FYI, I never consider any of the information on the LDS site or any site as fact unless it is sourced. If you would like, I have the information above sourced and am willing to share that with you.

As far as Martin Koeller goes, I have seen this before but I am not positive that the one that you mention is our Martin Koeller. Do you have a source that can connect Martin Koeller that married Magdalena Leitner to this set of parents?

Anyway, I believe I began to converse with you via email today so perhaps we can keep going with this through email.

My brother and I are trying to find out if our ancestor (Heinrich Koeller) is a son of this couple.
He found the following info:

Magdalena Leutner, was born 19 March 1716/17
Father: Johann Adam Leutner
Mother: Magdalena
She matches up with the Mormon database as being from Durlach (near Karlsruhe),Pfalz, Germany. South of Heidelberg, North East of Strasbourg

Martin Conrad Koehler
Father: Johann Leonhard Koehler
Mother: Anna Maria Bern Koehler
Birth/Christening: 07 NOV 1717
Haardt, Pfalz, Bayern

i have been researching my fathers family and am having some difficulty. i have clarence koeller of cole camp mo. still living and deceased wife matilda ella josie (kerksiek) koeller. these are my grandparents. great grands are charles f koeller and louise a young and great greats are john h koeller born 1845 in germany. i am trying to go farther back and fill in some blanks in between. any help out there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just saw this info; I infrequently go thru these; yes, Agnes was my grandmother; one of her 2 sons, my father, WARREN KOELLER WAITE, died on Feb. 9, 1998, in Sacramento, Ca. His only brother, CALVIN JOHN WAITE, just passed away on Feb 5 of this yr in Clintonville, WI.

Ida Koeller would be a cousin to Frank Koeller

Ida's parents were Carl W. Koeller and Emilie Kleman (or Kleeman?). Frank's parents were Friedrich Koeller and Wilhelmine Viergutz.

The parents of Carl and Friedrich were Wilhelm Koeller and Charlotte Kleman ( or Klamann?)

I would love to know more about Ida's descendants. I have more to share with rest of family

Helena (Lena) Born married Frank Koeller on Nov 8, 1908 in Pella, WI. She was the daughter of Ferdinand Born. Lena was born June 9, 1891 in Pella, and died Feb 1, 1968 in Clintonville, WI

Frank Koeller is the son of Friedrich C.W. Koeller and Wielhelmine H.F. Viergutz

They had 6 girls:
Agnes, Linda, Elda, Odelia, Lavern, and Betty

Agnes Koeller, born May 14, 1909 in Town of Belle Plaine, WI, died May 26, 1974 in Clintonville Community Hospital. She married Mark Waite 1925. She married Al John Duebler 1933, son of Otto and Martha Duebler. He was born on Dec 26, 1904 in Antigo, WI and died Feb 14, 1949 in Shawano Municipal Hospital. She married Richard Hutter Feb 25, 1950 in New London.

Thanks for your reply. I don't know much about the Koeller family other than Emma Louise Koeller was my great grandmother who came to the US as a child. She was born (according to family story) April 14, 1965 in Strassberg, Germany. In the States the name was changed to Keller. She had several brothers who would have had to fight under Willium Kaisers rule had they not left Germany. In one of my grandmother's (Emma's child) old school books is penciled the name John Keller. My dad never met any of the Keller family other than his grandmother Emma who married James Slane and lived in Kansas. I did find on a net search the listing of a William Koeller married to Anna Geib who had a sister Emma, a mother Louise unknown and father unknown Koeller. No lead came from that finding. If you can shed any light on this family, I would be thrilled. Thanks, Joan

As this is the only shown reply you have posted on Ancestry, I question the validity. I've had trouble before. This chance I take because the age you mention for Emma is possable. Can you scan the image into your reply? I have a picture of Emma and would be able to recognize her at age 68.

I received an antigue frame from a friend as a gift. She purchased it in Arizona at a flea market. It has a small photo of an older couple. The back says Emma and William Keller. It looks to be taken in the 30's or 40's . The ages are given on back. She is 68, he is 65. I will send it to you if it is your family and you send me your address.

....um, you'll have to forgive me, Frank, but my knowledge of German is extremely limited; I note, however, that your last name is "Daebler;" an AL DUEBLER helped raise my father, Warren Koeller Waite and his brother, Calvin John Waite, in Clintonville, Wisconsin in the 1930's and 1940's....my grandmother's name was Agnes Koeller (maiden name.) She married Mark Waite and had Warren, my father, and Cal....Bonni (p>s. I'm afraid I need you to respond in English...)

Hi, and thanks for responding! Do you have any info as to whether or not your family migrated east to what is now Poland from western Germany? That would be the clue as to helping to determine if we are related. I have heard of several Koellers that migrated from what is now Poland to the US, but I have not yet been able to connect any to my Koeller line. I know that my line started out in Ueberlingen, Germany and I have info on them dating back to the early 1600s. They moved in the early 1700s to Rastatt and then further north to Merzalben where they settled in 1727 and still live today (not withstanding those, like my grandfather, who came to the US). If any of those towns lines up with your tree, we may very well be related. Let's see!

My family settled in the Potosi, Dickeyville, Lancaster area of Wisconsin in the 1800's. I am from the ancestry of Christof, August and Frederick Koeller. I'd be happy to compare information. Thanks for writing.

I do not know if we are related, but if your ancestors came from the Merzalben, Germany area in the 1800s and moved to Wisconsin (a popular destination for many German immigrants coming to the US after first entering NY).

I will give you my ancestral tree if you are interested, but we would need to connect your names to one of these folks.

I have 2 Frederick Koellers in my family history, but I don't know much about them. They are in the family line of Christof Koeller who came to Wisconsin in the 1800's. Please reply and maybe we can piece together some information.

I am a descendent of the Koeller family from SW Wisconsin. I was orphaned young, so I do not have much information other than knowing my family were Frederick, August and Christof Koeller. If you have information on the Koeller family history I would love to receive it, as my children and I know very little of my true ancestry other than the aforementioned. I would like them to know more (and I ) about my ancestral history. Thank you very much for any help you can offer.
