Looking for information on a Violetta May Koffroth or Koffroath B: 5/16/1883 and D; 4/16/1959. She is buried in the Welsh Mtns of Pa. She lived till her death in Bareville, Pa.
Violetta married a Bernard James Rife and had 4 children; Ester May, Claudella P.,Bernard J.Jr, and Thelma E.

Ester May was my grandmother who was Claudella's sister. I got a book on Koffroaths from 3rd cousin in Calf. I need you e-mail to talk to you you are a closer link. I remember going to the house where Violetta lived and to the Mountains to Claudella's. We might have met at one time.

IAM THE SON OF Jack Roger Williams, his wife name was Gertrude Williams, they had four kide, Jack Roger Williams Jr., Jerry Lee Williams, Stephen Homer Williams, David Allen Williams, Jack Williams also married Marilyn Kofroth or Koffroth, they Had three kids, the only one know of is Roger Jack Williams.

Susan: I was pleased to see your inquiry, and perhaps the opening of a new avenue in my research.
I do not have a Martin Luther KOFROTH in my database, or the book I recently published. I do have a Martin KOFROTH, b. 21 Oct 1833 in Lancaster Co., PA, m. Catherine ROYER, b. 6 Oct 1836, d. 29 Jan 1860.
This Martin is a couple of generations earlier than yours, but the similarity of the given name and spelling of the surnameand makes a connection possibility.
Your ancestor being in Ohio suggests that he was in the group that lived in the vicinity of Dayton. I have not as yet been able to open this line, although I am well aware of them. I wopuld be delighted to discuss this further with you.

finding my father

I am trying to find a Robert Joseph Kofroth, he would be about 62-65 now. He is my natural father and I know very little about him. All information that I have is second hand through my mother. He was in an orphanage in Pennsylvania, St. Mary's I believe. He would have been in Naples, Florida around Jan of 1971. I need any help that I can get.

I am interested in finding any information on a Martin Luther Kofroth born 12/28/1887. He was my maternal great-grandfather. His parents were Martin Luther and Mary (Leonard) Kofroth, and he was married to Ida May Selby around 1906. He is listed as Luther Kofroth in the Ohio 1910 Census. I can't find any record of his parents or siblings. Do you have any records regarding any of these individuals. Thanks so much for any help you can give me.

I am searching for family of Marilyn Kofroth. She was originally from Lima, OH, and married Jack Roger Williams moved to near Hollywood, FL. She had 3 children that we know of, the oldest being Jack Roger Williams, Jr ("Roger"). She remarried an unknown gentleman after Jack divorced her. Any info is appreciated.
