I am interested in any information regarding Almulth nee Moennich Kohlmann wife of Anton Gerhard Kohlmann who came from Oldenburg Germany I would like to know if Almulth and Harm Moennich are related.Harm Moennich is the father of Clause Diedrich Moennich who is my husband's great grandfather. Almulth and Anton's oldest daughter mett went to California and married a Buhr and had one son. We would appreciate any information from any of Almulth's decendants. I found thier son Paul Rudolph's family in Huron, Beadle Co. SD. I sent a letter to a Granddaughter and have had no reply.

Paul Rudolph KOHLMANN and his wife Hildegard Charlotte BERLING are buried in Riverside Cemetery, Huron, SD.

Marjorie J. (Murphy) Kohlmann, 74, of W4965 Takodah Drive, Fond du Lac, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2001, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born on Aug. 21, 1927, in Milwaukee to Florence Murphy. She married Jerome Kohlmann on Aug. 16, 1947, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Fond du Lac. She is survived by her husband; three sons, Gary (Cindy) Kohlmann of Genesee, Michael (Sandra) Kohlmann of Greenfield, and David (Jane) Kohlmann of Cedarburg; four daughters, Barbara (Pete) Dereszynski of Sussex, Patricia (Richard) Lopez of Brookfield, Kathleen (David) Reeder of Germantown and Teresa Dahlke of Richfield, Wisconsin.

I do not know any of the Kohlmann family. I did find that my past relatives were from your family's general area but limited on information. Most of my immediate relatives live in Washington State so fairly limited. This message board is a great resource for information and would hope you will find all your answers. Sorry, not much help for you.

Anna had a half sister Hulda Kohlman who married Burton McKelheer and they moved to Yakima, Washington from Appleton, Minnesota. Anna's maiden name was Kantner and my grandfather Wilhelmn Kantner was her brother and half brother to Hulda. Hulda was born 9/28/1886 and died March 1968. They had a son Bert McKelheer who was born 10/6/1912 and died November 1979. Rudolph was no blood relation to Hulda as he was her aunt's (through marriage) brother. He became her brother in law upon marrying Anna. Hulda's father was Wilhelmn Kohlmann and her mother Anna Rosine Arndt, Kantner, Kohlmann.

An Edward Schwede was born around 1860 in Riga Latvia - he came to Australia sometime prior to 1889 and married Annie May Louisa Wright in Brisbane in 1890. She is sometimes known by any of her first three names. His parents were Frederick and Louise Schwede.

There is also another line of Schwedes living in Victoria, Canada.

My first time at this, my husbands grandparents were Susie Kolman Coey dob 05-01-08 dod 10-24-68 married to James Orley Coey dob 12-23-04 dod 01-26-85. Susie's parents were Joseph & Mary Kolman were immigrants at Ellis Island, NY. Mary & Joseph's other children were: Andy, Joe, Louie, John Kolman.
I'd appreciate any info.

I am researching my great great grandmother and grandfather's families of Kolman and Knor. These are the spellings on their wedding certificate. They were married in 1852 and lived in Cincinnati, OH. They were both from Bavaria.
