Many moons ago one of my great-grandfathers, Pieter Kool, supposedly left Holland to go to the US. Pieter Kool was born on May 11, 1870 in Schiedam/Holland. He moved to The Hague/Holland on June 15, 1894 and after that the trace stops. Family tales have it that he did emigrate to the US and settled in Cliffton (?). His fathers name was Hendrik Kool and his mothers name was Jacomina van der Vlies. Although born and raised in Holland myself I am now working in the US and curious to find out if I have any family ties here! If anyone can help me further, please let me know.
