I recently acquired a letter belonging to my great-grandfather's 2nd wife. It was a letter from F.M. Koons in Columbus, Ohio dated 1927, and added to that was a letter from Jonathan Koons in Illinois dated Jan 1878. It is a fairly well detailed genealogical history, with some information back to one Koons ancestor's exile to Jamestown Colony from Germany. Other names include Hughes, Snyder, Ott, Kegg, Weimer, Smouse Moler, McDaniel, Shoff, Manvel, Bishop, Page, Border. I would be happy to share this information. It is fairly detailed so perhaps a photocopy or scanned copy would be the best way to evalute the accuracy of the information.
