We currently have a Koontz/Counts Family DNA Project underway and are looking for anyone who may be interested in participating with this study. We already have the minimum required participants. I will be coordinating this effort. Please contact me if you have an interest in pursuing this. The DNA test itself is a very simple procedure consisting of a swabbing of cheek cells from any Male Counts/Koontz. The Male would have to carry the Counts/Koontz Surname. There are 2 different DNA tests that are available, a 12-marker and a 25-marker. I believe the current price is $99 and $169 respectively.
