Despearately looking for any information regarding Karl Wilhelm "Will," or "Willie" Korn. The family story goes that he was working on a German merchant marine vessel during the war (1914-1918) and was captured by a U.S. navy ship and taken prisoner "somewhere in Pennsylvania." After the war he was let go and he decided to stay in the U.S. He went to Michigan. I have no information who he married but supposedly, it was the sister of his roommate from Cleveland, Ohio area. Willie talked his parents into coming to America. The parents and Willie's new bride did not get along. Willie's Bride was unfaithful and when he found out, he took her and left--leaving his parents to fend for themselves. The family never heard from him again. I have not been able to find him and I do not know the name of the girl he married. HELP!!!
