My husband (George Edward Kornmeier) was born 8/12/29. His father died in May 1929. Am looking for any info RE his father who married Sophia Wittmeier sometime in 1927. Unfortunately, City of St. Louis records are a mess and cannot find any record of their marriage, nor can I find date of birth for the elder George Kornmeier. Think he was born somewhere in Germany (In vicinity of Urloffen). Any info will be appreciated.
