My great-grandmother Ana was one of eight children born to Cvijo and Danica Kosier. The family was Serbian and some paperwork shows she was from Yugoslavia but most says Croatia. She came to America in 1910 to live with her sister Milica and brother Simo who were living in Lorain, Ohio. Ana married Stevan Suica and moved to Chicago after Stevan changed the family name to Savich. Milica married Joseph Manolovich and had a family and remained in Ohio. I don't know if Simo ever married but he eventually moved to Birmingham, Alabama. I'm looking for any info on the Kosier family they left behind in Croatia. Records are hard to find due to civil unrest. The family was Serbian Orthodox and the churches do not release data I'm told. Any info regarding the Kosier family would be appreciated.
