Joseph Kostka is the son of Mathis and Anna Hruska. We are related . I'm the great granddaughter of Joseph's brother Wencil. I have justed started looking into the family tree and I'm willing to look up any information you would like since I live in Kewaunee county. Joseph is buried in the slovan along with his parents.

Trying to find out more information on this person. Have him marrying Wanetta Richardson and having child Pauline Richardson. Can't find them in the 1920 Census, but I have Pauline living with grandparents Eli & Martha Richardson and living next door to her other grandparents Frank & Rose Kostka in Stevens County Colville Twp Washington in the 1930 census. I saw an entry on the family trees that Darrel married Bertha Ethel Reed aka Betty Reed and I find Darrel & Betty in the 1930 census King County Seattle City Washington.

I believe Pauline Kostka is the granddaughter of Frank Kostka. Unknown son of Frank married Wanetta Richardson sometime before the 1920 census. I have been unable to find the unknown son & Wanetta Richardson in the 1920 census and it appears that by 1930 they may have been deceased and Pauline is living with the maternal grandparents next door to paternal grandparents.

I have not been able to identify when my ggm, nee Mary A. Kostka born 1/30/90 arrived in US. She was "visiting an uncle" then later married and resided in the Heights until her death. Any information you have would be appreciated.

Kostka-Cadogan marriage

I'm looking for anyone who knows of an Irishwoman called Hanna Cadogan who married into a Kostka family probably in the 1920s, and probably in the Boston-Lowell area.
She was my grandaunt and arrived in US around 1920, and went to stay with her sister Kate, who was living in Lowell at that time.

Anyone ever heard about my great grandfather, Wilhelm Kostka? According to my grandmother's birth certificate, he was born in Trebic, in what is now the Czech Republic. He was married to Susanna Berghoefer (born in Berndorf, Austria) and they were living in Vienna, Austria in 1906, when my grandmother was born. Her name is Emma. According to my aunt, Susanna died around 1916 and Wilhelm then remarried and had another daughter named Marie. Emma came to the U.S. in 1922 and married William Graham in 1924.

I have a Sarah Desmond, variably spelled "Demond" who married Thomas Clark, and had a daughter Almira Clark in the Rutland, Worcester County, Massachusetts, area. This Sarah is said to be born March 31, 1788 and died after 1845. She is listed in Genealogical and Personal Memoirs of Worchester County vol 1 as being from a family with roots among the earlier settlers of the state. I wish I knew more.

He's not listed in the SS death index so I'm assuming he's still alive.
