Looking for any information concerning my father
-in-law Mike Kot/Kott, born Sept. 12,1888/89 in
Russia to Mikola Kot and Maria Blushick. He and
a brother were in the Austo/Hungarian army and in
1917 right before the Bolshevicks took over, he said
one day they just kept on riding. They ended up in
Canada possibly on board the Kiser Wilhem. From
Canada Mike went to New York, his brother stayed
in Canada and they never saw each other again
(we don't even know the brothers name).

Mike said in Russia his name was James (Yukem?).
He talked about Belaruse, he also said his father was
a farmer. He eventually went to PA to work in the
coal mines, married Barbara (Dora) Stranyak and had
10 children. Mike passed away Nov. 1, 1966 in PA.

Hoping to locate this lost brothers family.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Kathy Kott
