Norene Carole (Tablack) Kotasek - Mahoning County, Ohio
CAMPBELL, OHIO – Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church for Norene Carole (Tablack) Kotasek, who passed away suddenly Aug. 30 2012.

Norene was born June 27th, 1938, the only daughter of Andrew and Mary Ontko Tablack.

Shortly after graduating from Campbell Memorial High School in 1956, Norene went to work as a legal secretary for Atty. Harry Frederick. As a testament to her steadfast work ethic and loyalty, she not only remained in Atty. Frederick’s employ until his retirement in 2001, she then worked for Atty. Frederick’s daughter, Anne D. Crawford, and up until her death for Attorneys Ron Yarwood and Damian DeGenova.

Norene loved polka music, and for Christmas she made the best butter cookies in the world.
She also loved to talk about her childhood, particularly the memories of her beloved father taking her to Cleveland, Ohio for baseball games. And though flying was much faster, when her daughter, Denise, lived in Philadelphia, she loved the long train ride she would take to visit her.

Although she was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma in November 2011

Inherently humble, she conducted her life with quiet dignity and never sought admiration or accolades for what she thought were ordinary, day-to-day activities or responsibilities. However, to her family and those who knew her well, she was nothing short of extraordinary.

Norene’s memory will be forever treasured by her husband of 50 years, Francis J. Kotasek, whom she married July 7, 1962; and their daughters, Pamela S. Kotasek of Campbell, Ohio and Denise Kotasek of New York City.
Among other relatives, Norene also leaves her very special aunt, Eleanor (Ontko) Genareo of New Castle, Pa., who loved Norene like a daughter; and her cousin, Shirley (Jay) Bator of Poland, Ohio who was like a sister to her.

In honoring Norene’s wishes, there will not be calling hours, but if friends desire, they may attend the funeral service at the church Wednesday afternoon.

The Kotasek family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home.

Visit www.waskofamily.com to view this obituary and send the Kotasek family condolences.

Jennifer

Don't know what else new I can add to your query that I have not already on the boards or thru e-mail.
It sure is far from historical region Moravia (Czech Republic) to Markusovce, Slovak Republic unless he was a teacher, business man or ?
If he was born in "Moravia" than you would have to hire a researcher in CZ or go to the appropriate archive yourself for the research. The CZ's government did not allow the LDS to film the church records.
Is it possible for some kind of mistake on his manifest?
Jennifer, the Protestant religious denomination, the Moravians, who are strongly represented in Pennsylvania, has nothing at all to do with the former Austrian province of Moravia!

Robert
