BOARDMAN, OHIO – The Funeral Divine Liturgy will be held at noon on Tuesday, July 7 at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, 1898 Wilson Ave. in Youngstown, Mahoning county, OHIO with Father Frank Firko Celebrating for Lucy (Kramer) Uhlar, 84, who passed away Saturday morning, July 4, 2009.
Lucy was born March 24, 1925, in Williamsburg, Pa., the daughter of Joseph and Ann (Homsey) Kramer.
Lucy worked at A & P Food Chain and was “Rosie the Riveter” with General Fireproofing during the war. She was a member of the church and was a tremendous baker.
Lucy will always be loved and remembered by her husband of 63 years, Stephen Uhlar, whom she married May 25, 1946; her daughter, Susan Patella of Boardman, Ohio; a son, Stephen Uhlar Jr. of Youngstown; and two sisters, Nancy Sernulka of Cortland and Judy Pavis of Liberty Township.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Robert D. Patella Jr.; son-in-law Robert D. “Bob” Patella Sr.; five sister, Ann Bistarkey, Elizabeth Sylvester, Helen Hritz, Elsie Antonoff, and Mary Evans; and two brothers, Frank and Joseph Jr. Kramer.
There are no calling hours.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.
