My g grandfather August Kranz married my g grandmother Ottelia Buhrandt in STOLP Pommerania. They came to the US in 1882 from Bremen via Southhampton and made their way to Toledo,Oh. Their children were Minnie, Otto(my gf),Augusta, Karl, Ida, Ed, August, & Bill; all of whom lived & died in the Toledo area. I am seeking any info you might have on this Kranz family. Family lore says my gggf was also named August & he was married multiple times; once to an Augusta (possibly Kraft) and also to a Henrietta Dienard. I also know little about the Buhrandts. Can anyone help? My g aunt told me that she was born in Slupsk which later became STOLP. I also know when August Kranz came to the US, he travelled with a John Kranz and Bertha Kranz who I assume were his siblings (they also settled in Toledo). JRM
