Hi. My great grandfather David Kraus born in Schilling on the Volga came to this country from Alexandertal, Saratov Province, Russia. His great grandfather came to Schilling from Doenhof. That man's father came to Doenhof from Stahl-am-Karaman having emigrated from the Thuengen Barony in northern Bavaria to Russia.
