Kreps or Creps

My Great Grand Aunt was Lucy J. Creps. Her father and mother were born in South Carolina in the early 1800's. Lucy's father's name was John. John and his wife moved to Alabama in the 1850's and Lucy was born between 1858-1862 in Wilcox County, Alabama. Lucy also had a brother, but I don't know his name. Tragically, Lucy's parents died in the early 1860's, and Lucy and her brother were sent to live with an aunt in Mississippi. MY Great Grand Uncle, Charles A. Baker met Lucy in Macon, Noxubee County, Mississippi and they were married on 12 April 1875. Around 1900 Charles, Lucy and their growing family moved back up to Minnesota; where Charles lived first after immigrating from Prussia. I am searching for more information on Lucy, her brother, and their parents. If anyone can fill in the blanks on this Kreps family I would surely appreciate it!
