Straws and clutching..that's me! Your message has come up on the soundtex search...I am looking for information regarding my father's family surname KRZEWIN. Have discovered some entries via jewishgen.org in Poland but can't get past 1895 and presumably his grandfather's marriage. Have tonight discovered an entry for THOMAS KRZEWIN in the Wisconsin census of 1910, giving his age as 34 and his birthplace as Germany. Could it be the same surname, spelt differently? Anyway would be grateful for any thoughts and advice. Karen

Additional information found on Gustave Anstora Kresin. Gustave emigrated to the US from Germany in 1882. Anstora 1871. They had 9 children. Charles (Nov 1865), Mary (Dec 1887), Johanna Louise (Sep 1889), George (Nov 1890), William (Sept 1892), Lewis (Aug 1894, John (Feb 1896), Lydia (May 1897), and Theodore (May 1899). This information came from the 1990 census. They may have had more children after 1990.

Johanna Louise (my grandmother) married Adam Woehl Aug 22, 1906.

George W. Kresin married Maggie ? and they had 1 child (Ernestine).

Henry Ludwig Kresin married Mattie Odessa Mathias and they had 6 children. Delores Eteleen Kresin (1925), Lavena Darlene Kresin (1927), Barbara Nadine Kresin (1929), Dayton Russel Kresin (1931), Freddie Ray Kresin (1935), and Rosemary Elizabeth Kresin (1938).

Dayton Russell Kresin married Alma Ann Knecht and had 2 children: Dayton Russell Kresin and Michael Lee Kresin.

Freddie Ray Kresin married Lola Haag and they had 2 children: Bradley Raymond Kresin and Brian Joseph Kresin.

Gary Kresin is my husbands uncle, and we lost contact. Last we knew he lived in Kansas. He had a sister Kay Kresin Lincoln.
