I am looking for information on John Kokes (mispelled and should be Krkos) who was listed on the 1910 census for Ralls, Missouri. He was listed with George Bals age 39, Steve Slanciak age 27, Annie Slanciak age 19, John Phillip age 25, Martin Polc age 19, Martin Balka age 25, George Selcke age 36, John Selcke age 40, George Uhlar age 42, John Jupka age 22, John Svare (Svarc) age 32, Steve Valach age 41, and John Jankeik age 36).

I believe that this John Krkos is the husband of an Anna Krkos from Dobra niva, Zvolen, Slovkia who corresponded with my great-grandparents Martin Sleziak and Maria Polc.

today, just by chance, I found your message and had to write to you immediately. at the beginning of the 20th century, my grandfather travelled to the USA to work and earn money there. his name was Jan Krkos, but he lived in a village which was called oscadnica, in the north of Slovakia. he travelled to the USA twice and then returned to his family, his wife was called Anna. two of his brothers, ondrej and jozef decided to stay in America and since 2 years I have been trying to find my relatives, but was unsuccessful. i am not sure whether it might be the same person but it is worth a try.
