Julia L. Slusher, nee Kroger was my maternal grandmother. (my mother, who was killed by a drunk driver 18 years ago, was her only daughter). I grew up just a few hours from Julia (we called her Bestamor for grandmother)and know a great deal about her. I would LOVE to correspond with you. You probably know things I don't. Was "Bud" your grandfather and Vickie Sue your mom? I never met that side of the family as my mother could be difficult to get along with and was estranged from members of her family. Leaving that all behind and starting fresh with your generation would be great. I am 59 years old, live in the state of Washington and am in close contact with all of Julia's decendents on my mother's side.
