I am not sure if I am an ancestor of the same Krogh family or not. My mother recently passed and I have received some family information from her cousin that has me interested in my ancestory.
My grand mother, Verna Krohg, had 13 siblings and the family was very involved in WWII. I know that the family settled into North Dakota after taking the boat from Norway. My great grandmother farmed in ND for 23 years prior to becoming a sandblaster in the Engine Repair section during the war. Some of her children also served. Their names are as follows; Verna, Donna, Murle, Violet, Shirley, Lillian, Arley, Gwendollyn, Kenneth, Maneard, Leo, Edna, Zane, and Ila. Her husband's name was Ed Krogh. Do you recognize any of these names? My mother's maiden name was Terrie Byrum, daughter of Verna Krogh.
