Dianna Marie (Krohn) Lueken, the daughter of Marvin James and Marie (Miller) Krohn was born on January 12, 1948 at the Wallick Maternity Home in Albion. Dianna was baptized on February 1, 1948 and confirmed October 2, 1955 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Albion. She attended St. Michael’s Catholic School until the 3rd grade, she then went to Boone County School District #44 until the 8th grade, and then graduated from Albion High School on May 26, 1966. Dianna attended the Lincoln School of Commerce, pursuing a business degree.
On November 13, 1971 Dianna was united in marriage to George Anthony Lueken at the St. Michael’s Catholic Church. They lived in Omaha where Dianna worked at a collection agency. In 1973 they returned to Albion where Dianna stayed at home and raised their 4 boys. In 1983 she started working at B & G Auto Body Shop where she was the secretary and bookkeeper.
Dianna was a member of the St. Michael’s Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She was a member of the Albion Country Club and the Women’s Golf League. She volunteered at the Senior Center delivering Meals on Wheels. Dianna’s enjoyments were her family, friends, creating picture videos, making wine and watching the “Lueken” racing team.
On Tuesday, July 17, 2007 Dianna passed away following a battle with cancer at the Boone County Health Center in Albion, NE at 59 years of age.
She is survived by her husband George, 4 sons: Dan and wife Shelley; Tom and Mark, all of Albion, NE; David of Lincoln, NE; 1 granddaughter Lauren of Albion; her mother Marie Krohn of Albion; 1 sister Joyce Erickson and husband Larry; 4 brothers: Richard Krohn and wife Jodi; James Krohn and wife Sandy; Mike Krohn and wife Lori, Dennis Krohn and wife Laurie all of Albion, NE; along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Dianna was preceded in death by her father Jim and her brother Joe Krohn.

FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. DAY: Friday, July 20, 2007
CHURCH: St. Michael’s Catholic Church TOWN: Albion, Nebraska
MINISTER: Fr. Stan Schmit
CEMETERY: St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery, Albion, Nebraska
VISITATION: Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the church with a 7:30 p.m. Wake Service. Visitaiton will continue on Friday morning from 8:30 a.m. until service time at the church
