Looking for Kroiss of Friedberg Germany, Josef Kroiss born ca 1857 died 1938 maybe in the US and he had 2 sons. Hanns born 1902 and Fritz born 1892. Fritz's wife Mathilda Kroiss said that Fritz is related to the famous painter Eugene DeLaCroix of France. Trying to find proof of all of this or expand on the family tree. Josef had a sister Otilla Kroiss who was my g-grandmother who married Conrad Fleischmann and they lived and died in New York, Queens.
