MOBILE REGISTER 15 SEP 1940
John Martin Kroner, native of Germany but a resident of Mobile County for 38 years, died at the family residence, 150 Houston Street, Friday evening, September 13, 1940. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs G W Johnson; two sons, F M Kroner and Carl J Kroner, all of Mobile; seven grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from the residence of his daughter, Mrs G W Johnson, 150 Houston Street, Sunday at 3 PM. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Theodore, with Higgins Mortuary directing.
