Hi,

I'm looking for information on David Krueger and his wife, Anna Paul. They had at least 2 children: Michael Krueger and Otilla Krueger.

Michael Krueger was born 18-Sep-1880.
It looks like Michael entered the United States around 1899, eventually ending up in Detroit, Michigan. He married Ida A Oestreich in 1903, and had a cousin living with them in 1910 (Marguerita Gollnick - approx. 20 years of age).

Otilla is born abt 1878. She married Herman Scharlinski around 1900.

Additionally, there appears to be a connection with the Meier family, as Ida's mother was Mathilda Meier, and the cousin Marguerita Gollnick (from above) is a decendent of Pauline Meier. I haven't been able to determine the common ancester, but I believe they might have even been sisters.

Michael Krueger's marriage license entry refers to his parents being from Russia. The various Census reports all have them originating in Germany. Most of these people were born in Germany and came across (Ida Oestreich born in Michigan). Apparantly Otilla and Michael came at different times, Otilla when she was only 12 years old.

All of these families have a number of living relatives in the Detroit, MI area (and beyond by now). If anyone has any information they could share, I'd really appreciate it. Here are some specific items of interest:
- How did Michael Krueger get to Detroit from Europe.
- What location in Europe they are actually from.
- When exactly did he arrive.
- Any information on his parents.
- Any information on how to link these families together. It appears that they knew each other before they came over to Detroit.
- And, of course, any other information/details/pictures/records that anyone could provide.

Thanks in advance,

Erick
