I'm looking for info on my great-grandfather, John Joseph Kruszka AKA John Lawrence Kruszka AKA Lawrence Kruszka. He says he was born on May 23rd 1887 in either Warsaw, Volshv (I'm assuming this is Warsaw because it was on his WWII draft card that he said orally to a non-Polish person), or Wienec, Poland. I think Warsaw is the most likely place because on almost every record I have he said that as opposed to only one record each for Volshv and Wienec.
On his naturalization record it said that his last foreign residence was Brzesc Kujawski (Brzesc Keyawski?), Poland so the family must have moved away from the city sometime between 1887 and 1906 (his arrival to America.)
His parents were Joseph Kruszka and Frances Mazgaj (I have two records to confirm this) and he had an uncle named Michael Mazgaj in Chicago when he arrived.
He married Frances Stefaniak in 1911 in Chicago and had one son and three daughters. He died in 1967 and is buried at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, IL.
Any information would be extremely helpful. Considering how many parishes there are in Warsaw, locating a baptismal record is an enormous task!
